When the tide is out you can walk for miles from Daymer to the Rock, from there you can get the ferry over to Padstow - it runs every 15/30 minutes and well worth parking up to go over rather than trying to park in Padstow itself.Its a really clean beach and plenty of room to run around - the sea is really gently but be careful as on the shore line can drop a fair bit and can take you a little by surprise.
